Paperpak Fee Structure 2007
The annual compliance cost in the Paperpak scheme comprises three elements: Paperpak membership fee (subject to VAT) This is an all-inclusive charge covering membership and all services including administration, consultancy and the acceptance of a member's legal liability under the Regulations.

*For any company that enrols with Paperpak, no matter the size of their turnover, if their recovery obligation falls below 100 tonnes then the £475 fee will apply For a company opting for small producer status the fee is £240 Agency Fee (VAT exempt) a) For each registration the Environment Agencies in England, Scotland & Wales require a payment of £564. In Northern Ireland this fee is £776. b)Groups of companies are liable for an additional fee in respect of each subsidiary that handles packaging

Small Producer Allocation Method (subject to VAT) For businesses whose turnover is £5 million or less in the last audited accounts, and who opt for this system Obligation Fee (subject to VAT) This is the charge we levy for the purchase of PRNs and/or PERNs in respect of a member's recovery and recycling obligations. PRN costs vary from material to material and month by month, being subject to supply and demand. For this reason we are unable to quote prices in advance for a full year. However, we are ready and willing to provide indications, based on a study of market factors and previous years' experience. |
