Paperpak is the only material-led compliance scheme operating under the Packaging Waste Regulations. As its name suggests it is paper-friendly and is open to all businesses no matter what their activity or packaging.
Paperpak’s membership reflects a broad spectrum of the paper packaging industry from paper mill to carbon printer, from merchant to importer, from label maker to newspaper publisher. However, more than one third of members is from diverse businesses, many with “down-stream” packer-filler activities, that joined Paperpak to benefit from the straight-forward, no-nonsense, service which has become a trademark of the scheme.
Paperpak is best placed to influence and initiate working partnerships to increase recycling capacity and is committed to taking the complexity out of compliance.
Paperpak’s comprehensive programme of member audits is well-established and thus well able to fulfil the requirement that schemes monitor closely the data capture and presentation of packaging information by their members.
Attendance, when required, at Agency audits of members is just one more example of the services provided by Paperpak staff.
